They say that many years ago, between the coves of Portopetro and Mondragó, there lived a cook who knew all the secrets of Mallorcan cuisine. Early in the morning, he would set out in his boat, loaded with the scents, flavors, and memories of the island. To every boat he met, he left a hot dish, made with love and time-honored recipes.
They say that even today, if you listen carefully among the waves, you can smell the aroma of a freshly made tumbet or hear the gentle sizzle of pork with cabbage.
